Migchel Dirksen is an experienced director (CEO and CFO) in business services and retail. For more than 25 years he has been leading mergers, reorganizations and transformations in various sectors including financial services, telecom and food.
As Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of several independent Rabobanks, Migchel was responsible for mergers, reorganizations and digitization. From his customer-driven focus, he has transformed existing cultures into a result and customer-oriented way of working.
As CFO at Talkline Nederland (telecom), Migchel led the sale of Talkline Nederland and completed the integration between Talkline and Debitel. As a member of the executive team at McDonald’s Netherlands, he has integrated the financial departments into the organization. Migchel started his career as a management trainee at Fortis, where he progressed to office director Corporate Banking MeesPierson.
Due to his experience in general management, commerce and business management, Migchel is well able to connect the different disciplines, resulting in an improvement of the financial results and an increase in customer satisfaction.
Migchel acts from enthusiasm, connection and customer focus and creates support among stakeholders. He works with short lines and a ‘hands on’ culture and masters style flexibility in dealing with people at different levels.
Migchel is married to Ellen and together they have 2 children. His hobbies are tennis, skiing, USA road trips and gardening.

Migchel graduated as a business economist from Erasmus University Rotterdam. In addition, he has followed many education and training courses, including on leadership, customer focus, strategy and team functioning at institutes including Nyenrode, Harvard, Yale, Stanford and IMD.
