Franco De Vita is Partner at RIVIONT and joined in November 2019. Franco is a strategic advisor to organizations dealing with innovations and the translation into new business models. Additionally Franco is, domestically and internationally, a public speaker and guest lecturer at various universities of applied sciences about BlockChain and Emerging Technologies.

Franco brings  30+ years diversified background in software engineering and IT Management. He has an international track-record in Digital Transformation and Innovation. His extensive ICT background in combination with his Blockchain know-how makes him a great partner for new initiatives. He is open minded and always willing to know more about the latest technologies.

Franco started his career as a Software Engineer in an R&D environment “Integrated Circuit Design”, a project running under the ‘European Strategic Program on Research in Information Technology”.

In the course of his career he fulfilled different roles as engineer, advisor and manager/director. More than once, he was involved in a large-scale international innovation project, experiencing working with multidisciplinary teams and diversity.

As co-founder of a specialised Infrastructure Management Consultancy firm, Franco worked with large and small organizations. For example Franco has advised ABN AMRO for years on new technologies for dealing rooms, the design of the IT landscape for Risk Management, and helping to restructure the IT Management organization. For Sony Netherlands and many other organizations, he has carried out similar activities.

Franco holds a Computer Science Engineering degree from Saxion, University of applied sciences Enschede, The Netherlands.
