Richard A. Vincent is Founder and Managing Partner of RIVIONT. His vision for RIVIONT is to be an international, mid-size boutique, built to work closely with Executive Boards and other senior leadership on the single biggest constraint of organizational success which is attracting and retaining top talent.

Richard focuses on the more complex positions, the business-critical roles in an organization, where the best people have the biggest impact on the bottom-line. Richard knows how to identify the consistent personality attributes that are associated with top performers across all fields. He understands that organizational success or failure is determined by the quality of its people and the way they work together. As trusted partner to Boards and as business leader he has seen by experience that the vital few – are the main driver of a company’s success, and companies will see much higher returns on their investment if they devote more resources to the few people who are making a big difference as opposed to trying to make everyone more productive. Richard focuses on those business-critical roles and the specific people fulfilling those roles.

Richard started recruiting and consulting since 1995. He made internationally career with some of the major global public NYSE, S&P500, LSE listed firms in Executive Search, Leadership Consulting and Specialized Recruitment. He developed from global top performing consultant to senior management positions at branch, country and regional Pan-European and Asia-Pacific leadership level across 27 countries, 70 offices with firms such as Korn Ferry (Amsterdam, Brussels, Singapore), PageGroup (Düsseldorf) and Robert Half (Amsterdam, Singapore, Zurich, Frankfurt).

Prior to returning to The Netherlands in 2016 he was running as CEO and President Leadership Advisory a boutique Asia-Pacific / Japan Executive Search and Leadership Advisory firm out of Singapore. He partnered closely with global and regional Executive Boards and country leadership teams of Fortune 500 and private companies in the complex and culturally diverse Asia-Pacific region. He helped them building or transforming their organization. He led and delivered executive search, executive assessment, leadership development, leadership team effectiveness, organizational culture and board mediation and coaching services. Some of his clients were companies such as Carlson Wagon Lit, Bosch Siemens Home Appliances, GE Healthcare, IMCD, Wacker Chemical, Electrolux, Thermo-Fisher, Zurich and Friesland Campina.

Richard is called for when a search is business critical, difficult to fill, highly confidential, the source pool is not straight forward, or the position sought to fill must be designed.

Richard is a trained industrial and organizational psychologist. He has worked with a number of psychometric tools as part of his practice and believes they are an integral part of any assignment that requires a solid cultural match or cultural transformation.

Richard has led hundreds of recruiting assignments for a broad range of clients from Fortune 500, privately held, private equity backed companies, family offices and not for profit organizations. As Richard lived and worked internationally in multiple countries in Europe and Asia, Richard is very capable to identify, select and place expatriates who are able to thrive in other cultures than their home country. By experience he has seen multiple expats who were very strong performers in their home country and culture but couldn’t succeed in another context.

Richard received a Master of Science degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University of Amsterdam (1995). He is a member of NIP (Dutch Institute of Psychologists) and follows their code of conduct. He is a certified trainer/coach of psychometric, behavioral and culture assessment tools and certified NLP practitioner. Richard is fluent in English, German and Dutch and lived between 2007-2016 with his family outside The Netherlands in Singapore, Germany and Switzerland.
