Richard is an international expert in the Executive Recruitment industry and brings 27 years of international experience in aligning talent and organizational strategies for American, European, Asian, and Australian boards, presidents and leadership teams of Fortune 500 and private (equity backed) companies.
On a fast career track with the world’s largest American and English publicly listed Executive Search and Specialized Finance Recruitment firms, such as Korn Ferry and Robert Half, he served in senior management positions across 27 countries, 70 offices in the EMEA and Asia-Pacific region for almost two decades. He re-structured and led loss-making businesses to the global top, successfully implemented American Operating Models across multiple countries in Europe and Asia and launched new global initiatives and LOB’s.
Prior to founding RIVIONT (2017), Richard was the CEO and President Leadership Advisory of a private investor backed Asia-Pacific/ Japan Executive Search & Leadership Advisory firm with HQ based in Singapore.
Richard is a trained i/o Psychologist, received his MSc degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology at the University of Amsterdam (1995), the Netherlands. He is a certified trainer/coach in mental, personality, behavioral, values and culture psychometric testing, assessment and development methods.
Richard is native Dutch and fluent in English and German. He lived between 2007-2016 outside The Netherlands in Singapore, Germany, and Switzerland. Richard is married with two children, enjoys travelling and different kind of cultures, and loves his game of tennis.
